Tropiwood Corp. & Lumber Co. is a manufacturer and supplier of tropical and North American hardwoods. Our North American species include Northern White Oak, Northern Red Oak, Ash, Cherry, Black Walnut and Hard Maple. We supply American hardwoods from producers in the best lumber regions where the lumber has the best; color, grading and manufacture. In softwoods, we supply construction and very high grades of Pine. We offer " Saps & Merch " , B Grade, No.1 , high density structural grades and C & Btr quality. In Cote d’ Ivoire our company practices sustainable forest management over twenty nine thousand ( 29, 000) hectares of untouched timberland. Our manufacturing facility has three lines to produce the very finest African hardwoods. We offer over twenty species of tropical woods and twelve North American hardwoods. Our primary sawmill is located near the port of San Pedro in Cote d’ Ivoire on the West coast of Africa. We have four eighty and four twenty five cubic meter dry kilns. Our production of African species is in excess of nineteen hundred cubic meters ( 1900M3’ s) per month. In Africa we use NHLA grade rules to select our hardwoods but offer European grading and custom grading to accommodate the customers preferences. In addition to providing lumber or square edged planks cut to standard dimensions, we offer custom sizes. We are prohibited from exporting logs but we will provide thick, wide and long timbers from 150mm x 150mm’ s to 600 x 600mm’ s as long as twelve ( 12) meters in length.
